Outsider that's only known from Twitter. I see a ghost of a chance for him winning, and even if he gained ground, I can imagine the circulations of him comparing charter schools to black panthers breakfast programs

Nah let me flip it on you for a sec. Are you a black lives matter supporter? What has black lives matter ACCOMPLISHED to gain support from black lives matter?

to be honest I do not see anything wrong with them :yeshrug: and getting things "accomplished" means that you have to get some sort of political power, which is what they are actually doing. Also you did not answer my questions.

We've been surviving. We won't progress until America is abolished.

this is not survival,we have died, ; a majority of black people are unemployed, we are getting shot every other week, we are getting pushed out of our homes via gentrafication -shyt is becoming unacceptable. and how realistic do you think that last part of your statement was?

dude is just trying to get his name out there

he knows he has no shot in hell at winning

Sheila Dixon had this election locked up the day she announced she was running again

Sheila Dixon has it in the bag even tho Mosby should win. He's good people. I grew up in the same church

Is Sheila Dixon's chances of victory that high? Despite everything that went down with her not long ago? Is she that popular?

Would be very interesting if Mosby won, though.

And we will survive. You can appeal and march for a better but not equal standard of life but attempting to reform America will not give us liberation.

how realistic do you think that last part of your statement was?

The question isn't if it is realistic but when will it happen.

You see nothing wrong with a "pro black" movement, headed by fa99ots and whites pretending to be black, funded by non black dollars? :sas2:

Ok cool, if there's nothing wrong with them, what's right about them? :sas1:

Honestly lets see how far this goes. We have to see his entire platform.

Basically.

BLM is a sham (not a "movement" that all blacks fall behind that the media narrative has planted in our minds) planted and propagated by anyone but the consensus of the black majority conscious. Everyone thought (and people still think) BLM was just a genuine battlecry slogan of some sort but they were never grassroots. No one black heard of BLM except when it was forced upon us. The first instance of a BLM hashtag somehow meant to the media that this represented a monolith of our supposed concerns. BLM doesn't have a goal other than begging on their knees for cacs to be humane and not be racist... the calling for a cac savior... the goal that is ultimately just for white acceptance and black complacency. They have - and intentionally - never had power beyond a hashtag. Deray is not even a "leader" of it. No one is except the 3 girls that started it. BLM is this vague metaphor anyone can put fake power into (twitter activists, newblacks, liberals) and put fake attacks against (cacs, cac supremacy, the media, anti-blacks, etc).

BLM is weird in that they do in fact piss off cacs. Cacs hate BLM. But BLM is actually not radical in any way. But they give the impression they are this visible momentum that is real. But the fact is BLM has no organizing beyond a hashtag. They are a perfect storm of pseudo-radicalism and black pacifism and empty platitudes. Blackness becomes a vulnerable target through BLM. BLM is not even real, it's this weird imaginary amorphous thing that everyone wants to always point to as our current generation's reaction to the media firestorm of police brutality. The media just had to put a name to black people yelling in the streets.

But Kwame Ture did speak on how important it was to ORGANIZE more than anything. He never really believed in voting or integration per se, but he believed in the organizing potential that voting and politics has to pro-blackness with the RIGHT intention.

Maybe Deray has the potential to be a pro-black organizer. Or maybe he's just an ultimate sham like we all suspect. Let's see.

Replace survival with progress... replace we have died with we are losing.. and you're pretty on the mark.

I don't know exactly what Poitier means by abolish... probably not what I believe.. hell I know it's not what I believe. But he will come around to my line of thinking eventually :sas2:

You don't seem to understand America. You can't reform it.
Dude doesn't understand America can't be reformed cause it's powered by white supremacy. Then again he's in politics...basically he's working to keep that same system alive. Ofcourse he'll disagree with us.
Don't think that is a door many are willing to open and go through. But keepin it 100%...

It's really the only conclusion that can be came too.. anti-black resentment is mixed into the foundation and total structure of this country :manny:
