This is fair but I know for a fact some people think Deray, BLM and even TNCoates can do things for Blacks but really its about a check and name recognition. Lets be honest.

How can you be against White Supremacy, for American politics, against Bernie, for Deray, for reparations but not the abolishment of historically racist American institutions?

Fair enough critique, we aren't too separated on this. Coates position on Bernie really bothers me and screams as disingenuous. Same with many pundits who've constantly critiqued Sanders against a level they haven't applied to Clinton.

i see at as dude got a platform from protesting but knows that in order to see SYSTEMIC CHANGE more and more of us who are AWAKE need to steal congress and senate, mayoral, and governor spots from these old white cacs

The number 1 job of a politician is to stay in power.
The number 2 job of a politician is to tow party lines.

In order to do enact systemic change, he would not be able to do either. I can suspend my disbelief momentarily and give him full benefit of the doubt. But i'm fairly certain I know exactly what issues he will champion. The fact that he is running as a democrat instead of an independant tells me everything I need to know. Politics is an invite-only party with a very strict code of conduct.



But i'll leave the matter alone. I have my doubts but I would be overjoyed if I was completely proven wrong

Oh and when he was in Ferguson, his bytchass stayed on the sidelines tweeting and taking pics while the real soldiers were putting in work.
