Only ones I can think of are Strivers Row, PRPS, and Brooklyn Circus, do you guys know of any others? I`m not talking about companies that just make t shirts, I`m referring to items I can wear to work (polos, button downs, chinos, sweaters, etc.)
Sean Jean. They make street wear, but the business suits are traditional and sharp looking.

Some of that Brooklyn circus stuff looks official but it's too expensive for me to justify copping from A brand that I don't know well. I usually cop pieces from all over the place and then assemble. So a spot like Brooklyn Circus I would cop from once and never again. But is still good to see some brothas making some (what appears to be) high end shyt. however, when you need to cop in volume, you're gonna wanna not spend $150 on 1 button up.

It's a lot harder finding a black designer you can buy from in volume because so many of the mainstream designers offer a trillion options, better prices and continually roll out stuff. The beauty of being in NY is that those options don't run out, even on the lower price points

Yea i guess it would be hard to have a black gap or zara because it takes a ton of money to buy the amount of materials and have factories they do to be able to churn out stuff at affordable, prices. My gripe is the urban brands of yesteryear could make moves by simply getting better designers. Much of that Sean John stuff in Macy's is flat out terrible.

It would be a little difficult because Gap and Uniqlo have been around since forever and have tons of sweatshops. And Sean Jean never was black owned. They just uses Puff's dumb ass as the mascot (like ciroc). Puff would be broke AF if he tried to start a clothing line with his own $$$. The cost of the factory and textiles alone would kill him.

But like I said earlier, I prefer to buy pieces from like 4-5 brands I can rely on and then build from there.
