I know other posters kind of addressed this but it's not us who practicing segregation. Why should we continue to fight and plead for them to take our money? We've been down this road before and despite laws it continues.

It's white people acting up not us. Should black people just keep trying to book on Airbnb until they come across someone who isn't racist? Should black people give up on Airbnb which can be cheaper and just book at hotels, therefore not even having the same alternative everyone else has?

Plus Noirebnb never said it was exclusively for black people, everyone is welcome. I'm pretty sure some other white people will try to create another version of Airbnb to be its competition and I doubt that would be considered wrong. Why can't black people get in on it too?

I haven't personally been offended or turned off by a Tech company yet. They cant control who uses their products.

Hmm this is an troublesome way of thinking. Just because you don't experience it, discrimination is ok? Hmm. We have documented reports on Airbnb and other companies being discriminatory towards black people so just because it hasn't gotten to you yet doesn't mean to ignore or gloss over it. Don't wait until something shows up on your doorstep to take action.

I agree competition is great. Otherwise we would still be on Sohh and Myspace.

I just think if I had a product to rent I would place it on all platforms. I signed up to drive for Lyft and Uber. I sell on Amazon, Ebay and my own BigCartel store.

Sad that we always have to create our own shyt because of discrimination, but glad that we're creating business opportunities for ourselves.

The effed up part is that as soon as a white person is denied their stay at this service (it's going to happen), it's going to cause a complete and utter faux frenzy. White people hate to see us be successful and treated halfway decent.

AirBnB itself has been racial or one person /people using the platform?

Its an open platform to rent a building/room... a lot of my fam in the islands are eating good off of it. They can compete locally with resorts and shyt.

Even setting aside the fact that you'd be supporting a black entrepreneur, the sigh of relief I breathed when I heard of this was just

Imma be travelling during the summer (Europe mainly) and was pretty much gonna write AirBnb off because I didn't want the hassle of dealing with racist fukkers. An application that can connect me with blacks in Europe or non-racist cacs would be legit. Hope it will have launched by then.

Y'all know her ass is gonna get sued though right? If this kicks off in a big way I see a lawsuit, because they will be eating into AirBnb's profits.
