I mean....pure business stand point....your capped out while laying IT less than 7mil a year...he's spoken 40 times about wanting the max next year...when he's 30.

You can get a incredibly similar player who is 5 plus years younger and under contract for 2 more years at over $10 million less a year than you'll have to pay IT.

.I was telling a friend of mine this was this deal that made the most sense to me as far as the Cavs staying contenders while getting some other pieces. IT makes a lot of sense to move considering he wants a huge raise and also not knowing how he'll respond to the hip issues. If I'm Cleveland I'm at least demanding Jalen Brown and if I'm Ainge I'd give him up and keep Crowder.
