Boston got fleeced like a muthafukka. Kyrie is nice, but without Lebron to take the brunt of the defense focus, he's going to have to work like hell.

If Isiah is allowed to carry the ball, CLE winning the championship next year.

They got fleeced long term but short term they're better

Cavs lost their 1B (1A at times/clutch times) scoring option

It's literally a two man game of Lebron/Kyrie now that's gone.. IT4 is a liability on D (even more than Kyrie) and can be shut down easily with a conscious effort.

He also wasn't worth that payday at his size

DRose is a complete shadow of himself and will suffer even more setbacks

Boston won short term.. If Lebron leaves (which is still highly likely) the Cavs have pieces but nothing substantial

This is one of the worst Bron teams (on paper) in recent memory. At least the ECF will be interesting

It depends on if they want to shoot their best shot with Lebron. If this is their last shot they need to push all their chips in and go for it.

If they lose in the Finals and Lebron and Cousins/George walk then it opens doors for a clean slate to rebuild.

I wouldn't try it. With the bad contracts LeBron forced them to sign their role players to and the level of competition they are trying to overcome it's not worth it. Get a top 5 pick to go along with the all-star you acquired, let LeBron decide if it's worth leaving and if it is? You have 2 all-stars and a top 5 pick coming in to keep you relevant as you rebuild.

shyt is a no brainer for the cavs. They did a great job with this deal.

What do you think Kyrie is supposed to fetch? Hes not an elite gamechanging player. You get a 28 PPG guard to fill his spot. That's about as good as CLE can hope for.

I agree. What people have to realize is....you have to get back a player who is just as good or close to Kyrie. you dont want nobody over 30 and you dont want any young players unless its someone like Devin Booker's caliber, which their team will not give them up. The teams Kyrie listed as his preferred destinations, they didnt have the assets to make a worthwhile deal. Yes, he is expiring but this is and always has been the best deal for the Cavs. Myself and others said it here weeks ago. If its a deal with NYK, you basically gotta give up KP and NYK dont want to do that.

The LI
Also Brooklyn isn't the worst team in the league.

Why is this being overlooked? Everyone got this pick pegged as 1 or 2 like its a lock. shyt might go wrong and it winds up there, but we are not the worst team in the league on paper this season.

Boston sees it too, if we were a lock for the top 2 there is no chance they make that pick unprotected. They think we won't be there either

People are saying Boston lost because they had better options that they didnt pull the trigger on

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
So I guess Tatum is gonna start at the 4, hayward at the 3, kyrie as the 1, no idea on the 2. Ho at the 5.

Doesn't seem strong defensively.

Also he's gonna take away the hype from the great white hype.

Offense will be explosive but defense will suffer.

The 2K curse? :ohhh:
a 2k curse seems to be kicking in

2k 13- KD gets eliminated in 2nd rd, Griffin in the clips eliminated in 1st rd when up 2-0, Rose tears ACL:mjcry:

2k14- Bron as a heat, and you know the rest:lolbron:

2k15- KD injured and missed the offs

2k16- Harden leads to Rockets to 8th seed and eliminated in 1st rd, Curry loses in finals, Davis doesnt make the offs

2k17- PG gets swept in the first rd

the only nikka in the past 2k covers to get it and win it all is Kobe:childplease: in 2k10
