mid-term elections and relying on so called progressives who specialize in not showing up and just expressing disappointment about the rigged system that they do nothing about ... hmm this is going to end well. fukk 2018. we need a 4 year dedicated on the ground strategy to flip state houses and governors mansions heading into the 2020 census because the gerrymandered house isn't changing over to friendly progressives in 2018 anyway.

That "single, unified campaign with a single plan" tactic could actually be very powerful. One of the hardest parts about building movements is making sure your issues are clearly defined to avoid cooptation and ideological leakage. It's much easier to grow and solidify support when your supporters know exactly what they're standing for, and that they have fellow members across the nation standing with them. This should embolden the progressives in those more right wing states and cities.
I used to be part of a progressive group. Not gonna happen.
Um none of what you said contradicts their message or objectives. But go on and continue to fulfill self defeating prophecy.
