I watched Marshall when he said it and I'm going to go ahead and say he wasn't trying to throw Cam under the bus so this wasn't a c00n moment.


HOWEVER


We can say generational or we can say racial but at the end the of the day it's ALL the same thing. Cam Newton is unabashed, unapologetic, black excellence and he EXUDES it on the field. His celebrations are rooted in Confident BLACKNESS and his swagger is BLACK in a way that no quarterback I've seen since Mike Vick can really portray. Cam is no Muhammad Ali mind you, but he doesn't have to be. He's putting his foot on the league's neck and not just breaking barriers and perceptions, he's SMASHING them, burning them, and dabbing over their ashes.
