Rochester and Buffalo got new mayors now. India was a RN and community activist who never ran for any office yet beat a 4 term mayor who didn't even bother to show up to the debates or really campaign til the last minute. Impressive.
Here in Rochester Malek Evans destroyed Mayor Warren taking over 66% of the vote. Warren mishandled Daniel Prude's death and threw the police chief under the bus forcing him to resign. Which pissed off a lot of people because the chief had a good reputation as a person for a long time. Warren herself is currently under campaign finance indictment, her husband just racked up mad fed/state drug conspiracy indictments and will be going to prison for some time. All the meanwhile she's done nothing but play victim through scandal after scandal while trying to use god as some kind of shield.
