People really dont appreciate the creativity and struggle it took to create something like hip hop. It was something we truly owned and we giving it away to these crackas and letting them change our standards. Smh.

Kids having beatbox battles in the hallways
Listening to cassette recordings of the mix shows you recorded over the weekend (me magic..red alert)
Going to the record store to pick up that new single on vinyl by Whodini
Putting that vinyl on the turntable and flipping it over to mix the Acapella vocals over the breakbeat instrimental on the other turntable
Having ya mama beat on your bedroom door telling you to TURN DAT THING DOWN
