Back in the day, artists gave a good second or two to get into the groove of a song before they got to work :lawd: That quickly changed with hip hop and R&B of the 90s but the intro was at it's best just before it ended-- in the 80s-- early 80s in particular. The unique talent and sensibility brehs had to set the mood with a blend of electric and acoustic instruments was just :ohlawd:
