Can we talk about how "Both" is one of Drake's best ever songs?

The Booth as a whole, given its love for pop and its shytty taste in hip hop, completely slept on this song. I told y'all several times that this was a banger.

6 Krishna kinda floated on this :ohhh:

call yourself a Gucci fan and have one of his best ever songs go wood in The Booth, brehs.

cotdamn 9 Krishna floated! :wow: If 6 Trinity gets a Metro Boomin beat for More Life (and you know it's gonna be Metro's best), y'all might really commit dat :laff:

I need a Drake only version. Can someone please help with that?
I don't usually do this unless I'm drunk or I'm high
But I'm both right now, got me talking about my life
I don't usually do this unless I'm drunk or I'm high

But I'm both right now..... [*6 God leaves space to float as that Metro Boomin beat sounds beautiful in the background*]

:damn: :fire: :wow: :banderas: :whew:
YEA I'M BOTH!!! :umad:

SirBiatch's Top 6 bangers of 2016 :ohlawd:

Not only is it Gucci's best feature appearance, it's a top 10 all-time Metro Boomin beat. Metro Boomin is really the leader of this new generation and is picking up where Clams (unfortunately) left off. You can hear the art in what he does, and he's putting back some edge into this hip hop shyt. Listen to those first 13 seconds. That's some RZA/Havoc type ish

The beat and Drake's performance put it in top 10 Drake songs.

"I told you I would do it AND I DID!" :laff: Haters must have cut themselves when they heard that. Good thing basements usually don't have bathtubs.

Yeah it is

Drake really floated on that beat and I like the flow he was using

"This some shyt I wrote about when I was broke!
See, the power of the mind is a not a joke!
Man, I said that I would do it and I did!" :wow:

Used to get leftovers out the fridge!
NOBODY WAS FAMOUS WHERE I LIVED! :damn:

That's the part that always gets me. It's the absolute truth. Drake is the most famous person out of Toronto... maybe ever. Some local 'celebs' and hangers-on in Toronto love to pretend they're famous. But the truth is that they have arrogance issues, no one really knows or cares who they are. Drake captured that sentiment and deaded all that behavior in one line :dead:

This verse is what I mean when I say that Drake is lyrically superior to all these new dudes. Especially forced boy scouts Cole and Duck. Those dudes ramble a bunch of cliche shyt they think you want to hear - most of it vague, impersonal and meaningless. Drake, from time to time, spits actual shyt that happened to him in a clear, engaging way.

Meek easily would have been in a similar position had he pushed Rico

My opinion but I dunno about that. RICO is a cool record but not really a radio look, outside of Drake being on it

Gucci was the featured artist on black Beatles.

I don't know the specifics on which bag would be bigger, cause Black Beatles was a HUGE record.

But knowing that you have a lead single banked away for your album is HUGE. And Drake did that for Gucci twice, and let's be real Both might as well be a Drake record.

And Back on Road was Gucci's first 'radio' record when he got out. Obviously First Day got radio play, but Back on Road was the first big radio look when he got out.
