purely individual, when you count the awards I would say so. Winning MVP and DPOY while leading the league in Scoring and Steals all as a guard is just crazy

Cartoonish numbers. Sometimes I go on basketball reference and just look at some of the stats the all time GOATS of the modern era . I recall MJ, Bird, Shaq, Olujuwon being particularly cartoonish.

shyt the year before that and the next two after that were incredible two. In fact all of his season by season averages were impressive but that 88 season was remarkable when you break it down. To win MVP and defensive player of the year in the same year is something we may not see for a while. MJ was that dude and his stat lines look like a video game's for real.
