Once he became NWA champion (early 80s), the guy traveled city to city wrestling very good to great 40-60 minute matches, about 20 times per month, for close to 10 years. He was well in his 30s-early40s during this period. Its one of the more amazing sustained feats of athletic endurance in history. Dissecting his actual work, there were a million flaws to his in ring ability of course, but when people talk about Flair's greatness they are mainly talking about his inhuman motor. In ring, Flair had his formula but his "flair" for the dramatics was unrivaled, and still is.

Part of it is era too. When Flair was on the come up and having his best matches you weren't getting to see every single match of his. They were catered to traveling from town to town, so you could wrestle the same match every night since the fans in the building that night had never seen it. So it would be hard for him to adjust to that as he got older he probably didn't adjust to the fact that people have way more access to previous matches and can see it's the same match. Still as formulaic as Flair could be he still always entertained.

he still put on five star matches later in his career on multiple occasions in tna and wwe.
not to mention, during the evolution phase.
he always had the best matches out the stable.
then, when he went to tna...
he had the definitive promo's of the year 2000, with jay lethal.
plus a five star match,..
then, a five star match with mick foley that was a hardcore match, too.

lol, at anyone criticizing flair, when he been through airplane fukk'n crashes and broke his back.
not to mention, the numerous car crashes and still was better than anyone thinking about naysaying him.

kurt angle needs to stfu, too.
as real talk,...I love kurt's work.
yet, if you read any rant especially keith.
keith would always know his pop up suplex, and his spots note for note, too.

so, kurt needs to just stop it.

hall can stfu, too.
as he has heat because flair ditched that nikka, as his protégé.
plus, flair worked him up into a comparable worker.
to the point he actually got to be able to draw.
all of hall's ringwork that is praised.
was because flair helped him.

nash, can't say shyt.
as he never was a flair protégé, ever.
plus, if not for michaels carrying his lug meets lunk face ass.
he would have never had a classic.
plus, the clique got the tricke own effect from flair in wwf.
if not for flair taking hall under his wing...there would be no clique and no political power or rub to latch on to.
flair's connection created the power the clique had, period.

on top of the fact,.......flair kept wcw alive for them to fukk it up, later on.
then, re-invigorated wcw when they were gone by going over jarrett.

so, I am really not about to honor nobody naysaying flair.
especially bret, cause real talk....
bret only got attention because wwe fukked up booking quality with hogun.
if not for that, bret would have been in dark matches in singles with no ic reign.
he would have still been the best tag heel in wwe history.
yet, never used in singles to the effect of flair.
plus, bret's entire cred in domestic usa.
came all because he went over flair.
so, his entire rub came from flair as a singles guy in usa.
to the point, the title change was televised from a house show.

the nerve of nikkaz criticizing flair on ringwork.
yeah, he held the book prison...
you can criticize him for that.
he held back and destroyed the natural draws of:

scott steiner
sting
lex luger

past that, though........
flair was great...

call me when anyone talking put on a tv classic with tom fukk'n zenk of all people.
that had zenk feeling himself so much, in the locker room.
it became one of the first onscreen kayfabe joke shoot angles.
that the people at home knew about from just watching.
that actually was the catalyst for vader's entire domestic draw and convincability.
with zenk still riding off the flair tv match.

notice the people naysaying him...
had pill addiction and couldn't even conquer the bottle.
yet, flair was in a fukk'n air plane crash.
then, never had the issues of the magnitude these dudes had.
plus, the promoters if he did have issues.
always had to come groveling back to him, in a positive note.

kurt has yet, to regrace a wwe ring.
bret, created the actual platform for the screwjob.
shame it happened to bret, but bret is just as much at fault for the situation as vince.
as bret, was connected to emotion about location of a job.
the same shyt he criticizes hbk for in the smile situation.
so, bret can stfu, too.

the nerve of them nikkaz...
only ones who can really trip is:

scott steiner
luger
sting

as flair legit stopped their thunder knowing he could be phased out from a dominant possible hogun with the title face run.
if they occurred on time, when they should have.
past that,....nobody really can say shyt.
as real talk,...the pedigree of flair to his protege's to hall.
is why wwf got some quality from new blood before msg.
to hall's draw and braintrust from flair helping them take over in wcw.

to flair's braintrust with scsa also, saving the entire wwf from being beaten.

so, real talk,....hall/bret/kurt, can't say shyt.
especially in the case of tna,...
as jarrett's whole entire draw was built off of trying to be naitch.
trying to deflect and disguise as a buddy landell's nature boy.
so, jarrett, got to draw.
when, he would have been fuc'n erik watts and no bread to make tna, later on.
those names actually had three promotions to go to and directly benefitted from flair's braintrust.
to the point those three promotions would not have existed for them to even work at.

Flair was a great worker, just under par ring psychology. But his cartoonish antics are mimicked to this day and they added to his... Flair :lolbron:

flair never had under par ring psychology.
all his finishes had the best ring psychology for a maineventer consistently in the modern era.
on top of the fact, he had longer matches consistently than anyone in wrasslin in a mainevent domestically.
for close to fifteen plus years, in comparison to anyone else.

luger's best psychological finish in his entire match history is a flair match.
the psychology in flair/steamboat is top of the line.
to the point, it became the basis for the draw of return encounter.
where the finisher is now nullified or enforced as effective to cause more injury.
case in point the return flair versus steamboat match...where steamboat slaps on the doublechicken wing out the gate.

to the very next setup of the flair funk program that was psychology heavy.

sting's bum knee, that sting rode his entire career was from the psychology of flair.
taking the real injury and using it effectively in a match.
that made it so, sting had a leg submission.
the dq for going over the top, was built off of flair psychology as a draw.

flair caused fukk'n riots of the racial variety of sheer psychology against the other badnews.

you my dude, but flair was the king of psychology, breh.
