Just finished watching the Falicia Blakely movie, then saw the real person (and her convicted accomplice) and went

Hollywood is good for casting good looking females to play roles of women who were average at best in the looks department. Even when they get strung out on drugs during the course of the film, they still look smashable.

Can you come up with any exceptions?

The closest I could come up with was Angela Bassett/Tina Turner. I'd probably go with prime Tina over Angela.
