Im watching someone do a longplay on youtube...Yea this game is trash. They knew they fukked up because Castlevania III was one of the GOATs.

If you think about it a lot of those nintendo games was vague with stuff like that but not on this level. Doesn't help that the riddles don't even make sense at all. Oh my god I cant stress enough how disappointed I was with the second game.
Word is that the director of the game was on some bullshyt, adding unnecessary game mechanics without other knowing and had key members (including their lead art director, who was the studio's best asset by far) leave during development. Resulting in the game becoming a complete mish mash of
