Somebody do another Pac vs Nas poll..

With Nas' output since 2015 when this poll was made, being logical (and if yall are being objective), Nas should easily win now...or no?

:sas1:
4 mid albums not gonna put Nas over Pac. But considering how Nas stans hyped up Your Old Droog when they thought it was Nas you may have a point. Maybe Nas fans should be banned from the voting due to obvious D riding. Then we take a poll :sas2:

Its insane to put a rapper with as little as 1/4 a catalogue and not even a whole decade of a career up againt Nas..

Yall gotta stop this...Pac didnt even have to navigate a 30yr career..
yall gotta stop taking this personal. there was a whole tournament attached to this, this wasn't a random Pac vs Nas vote out of thin air. i think the brackets started with like 68 rappers and it came down to two GOATs who have a big overlap in their stan/fanbase, and it came down to 2 votes...like wtf.

despite Nas being the better rapper/longer career, Pac had a stronger emotional connection with fans/contradictory, bigger-than-life personality and subject matter versatility that really connected with people. it was a fair vote that deserved to go either way

Whoa.. I am gonna take personal but not about Nas. Id say the same for Pac vs Jay. BIG VS Jay or whoever... It aint fair to have rappers with slim catalogues going against people with bigger catalogues and longer careers. 45yr or 50yr old Pac trying to navigate doesnt exist. At some point this board gotta stop this. Hip Hop listeners gotta stop this honestly.. Its not about me liking Nas over Pac or whoever. High level longevity gotta mean much more.

Just keep Pac and Big and whoever else who didnt make it in just an Iconic category to be left alone..or if we just talking bout who the best in the 90s was..

bruh, this is pac, not big, his career may have been short but he had a crazy high, incredibly impactful amount of output, he's not the same as Big with only 2 albums. i'm a nas stan but be reality, he may still be putting out music but it's not like he's been a mainstream staple the past 16 years, so miss me with pac didn't have to navigate the game at 45/50 years old, he would've been where all the 45-55 yr old rappers are including Nas - making music for those who grew up listening to them. the only 3 rappers with a legit 10+ years of tier 1 relevance (sales, charting singles, pop culture relevance, and quality) are snoop, jay and LL...

edit: drake and ye have crossed that mark as well

Both are goats in Hip-Hop. Usually are most 1 and 2 out of top 5.

One resides on a whole other higher plane of existence such as Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye and etc.

“Spittin' at adversaries, envious and after me” :wow:

Besides of the same typical posters who be in all the threads hating, it was a joy to hear peoples perspective and compare and debate peacefully.

Nah, Nas and Pac are two completely different things. Pac to win on a Nas site is a testament to his greatness.
