You don't see a video of white kids acting out, then conclude some grand statement about white people as a whole.

Alright...somebody neg this fool for me. Im out of ammo.

if its black kids bringing guns and knives to school, why is it white folks usually doing the school shootings? When I was growing up I moved around a lot due to my parents jobs. Went to a bunch of majority white schools and a few majority black schools. I can say without a doubt that the black schools had the WORST behavioral problems out of all of them. Negros bringing guns and knives to schools for shyts and giggles, throwing shyt at teachers, calling female teachers, students, and faculty members all types of slurs like bytch, hoe, slut. Fighting over scuffed sneakers and the last slice of pizza at lunch. Dudes literally assaulting faculty members because they were bored or in a bad mood that day. The white schools were like a completely different planet but I never thought twice about it nor did I understand why they acted the way they did until I grew up and started to do some community work with lower income families on the East side of my current city. Every single kid with behavioral problems comes from a single parent home where the mom is either working her ass off and has no time for them or just doesn't give a shyt about them. The ones with two parent homes are 9 times out of 10 more well behaved.
I had a kid a couple weeks ago that I've been tutoring punch his math teachers window out because he gave him a 0 on a homework assignment he never turned in. Went by his house on the weekend to drop off some homework for him and see he's home alone with his two little sisters. I ask him where his mom is and he says she hasn't been home in a week.
The kid is fukkin doomed. He was doomed at birth when his ain't shyt daddy ran off to Houston and hasn't seen him since. The b*stard is 2 hours away but wants absolutely nothing to do with a child he helped create. He doesn't know how to handle his anger or control his emotions because he has never had a man around to learn from or steer him in the right direction. A lot of thecoli doesn't wanna hear this but until black men step up and stop this nonsense it will never get better. There's a time and a place to complain about white supremacy but complaining about it isn't doing any good. The improvement has to start from within the community and it has to start with the men. Men are the foundation of a solid community and it is severely lacking in too many of our neighborhoods.
Aight this is the point where yall call me a c00n andat me.

This is disingenuous and a deflection. This video doesnt have anything to do with black american culture, huh? Do I need to direct you to black out-of-wedlock rates, black crime rates, subpar black high school graduation rates to reinforce the obvious?
A far bigger population WITHIN the overall black population that is far bigger than other respective populations wake up EVERYDAY with a complete lack of respect for authority, responsibility, and common decency. This is what the Richard Sherman's of the world are trying to say. Addressing the personal responsibility (or lack thereof) of the individual actors and actions of black people.
You try to address it, and be ready to be called a cac lover, c00n, or tom that sides with white racists. Basically one is silenced. Being placed in this impossible space insulates these young people from their actions, and helps to victimize people like this poor black educator in the video. We have to tip-toe around it and around them.
This is the point --- yes racism has shaped these outcomes in a historical sense, but how do we address these outcomes that HARM black people like this poor woman? This is the uncomfortable conversation black people as a whole are unwilling to have, because we always want to fall on our "institutional bias" crutch and deflect.
We cannot and should not begin and end every conversation on black issues as us being victims of societal bias and malice. Until then, dont expect these behaviors to ever really change.
Lot of gems in here, very insightful post. I disagree with you on one point, I actually think strong women are the most important element to orderly, functioning community/society.
Showed this to my cousin, man. Bad ass lil hoodrats and future homicide victims.
I remember busting this Mexican bytch shyt 4th period, 10th grade for disrespecting a sub like that. Only fight I ever got into at school and my parents were proud of me.
I literally reached over and gave that bytch a fist sandwhich.![]()
why does a video of some random kids acting up turn into a "conversation on the state of the black community"?Right on!!!
I'm tired of all these apologist derailing a conversation on the state of the Black community.
People think conservatives are the only racists. Oh no, liberals have done a number on the Black American mindset. Have convinced many Black people that nothing is every their fault and that we can not be the authors of our own destiny because racism has made us this way, not our own decisions, not our own actions and thoughts. ..
Liberal racism is so insidious it's sad. ..
why does a video of some random kids acting up turn into a "conversation on the state of the black community"?
and where did anyone blame these kids actions on white people?
