They'll have her pop out for a video or something but that's it. It's over and they won't relent. The only response should be a complete boycott of the Olympics and the WTA pulling all future tennis matches and tournaments from China.

Nah.

She will emerge and say everything that happened was a result of mental health issues. She was safe all of this time and appreciates all of the well wishes and the concern everyone showed. As we have seen with other athletes in recent years, we spend so much time focusing on building our physical strength that we sometimes lose sight of our mental health. She hopes people do not use her mental health issues for personal or political purposes. Right now she just wants to concentrate on getting better and hopes everyone will respect her privacy.

China doesn't care about their opinion. If there was unrest in China, then they'd feel pressure.

The western media's growing outrage over this is pretty funny considering the ongoing massive issue US and UK college athletics have with widespread sex abuse. (One of my home state U.S. Reps is Jim Jordan)
