I can't see that happening.

Blake didn't like playing with CP3, gotta think he'd hate playing with Russ.

I can see Blake going to Boston so he can be worshiped as their half white basketball Jesus.

Are we sure he ain't just gonna stay now that cp3 got sent packing? He's this generation's version of Cwebb. They can run everything through him with a combo of shooters and Beverly and Dandre playing defense

Can someone explain why people on here claim Harden & CP3 wouldn't work? What's the evidence of either of them failing to succeed with another elite guard?

And if it's impossible for them to co-exist why do people still get on the Thunder for trading Harden 5 years ago despite Westbrook being the most ball dominant guard in NBA history?

yes they did. they had CP3 who was the best PG in the league for a few years and consistently a top 3 PG, Blake who was considered the best PF at one point and is a top 5 PF and DJ who is a all-nba defensive player. those 3 together didn't get past the 2nd round. they underachieved.
The Clipppeers were actually relevant during actual NBA seasons. That is a success and that is because of CP3

lol, Houston gonna be must-see TV next year. Between CP3's stubbornness and Harden's aloofness, D'Antoni might go crazy.

Y'all thinking this shyt gonna go smooth between CP3 and D'Antoni gotta think again. You're talking about a guy that probably thinks he's the greatest PG ever, who's played the same exact way his entire career, and you think he's gonna switch his entire playing style 10-12 years into his HOF career? At this point, I just don't see it. Maybe in a couple years when he's obviously declining, but now? Eh.

And don't get me started on Harden and CP3. How are these 2 gonna co-exist when they both REQUIRE the ball to be maximum effective? Harden just had one of the best seasons ever, and now you're gonna completely eliminate the possibility of it happening again because there's no way his usage rate will get that high with CP3 in the mix. Haberstroh posted players that lead the league in time of possession last year: Harden was 1 and CP3 was 7. How is that gonna work?

Plus, y'all know how rigid CP3 can be on the floor. What's gonna happen when Harden blows a defensive possession to help them lose a game? Or he's lollygagging in the backcourt while CP3 is waving his arms for him to get up the court? Ultra-serious CP3 and don't-give-a-fukk Harden are gonna be so much fun to watch.

2 ball dominant wings who needed the ball to succeed. Think lebron and wade in 2011. Wade had to take a backseat to make it work. Whos going to turn down?

I don't think they're gonna want to pay him. It looks like they're going to go into a full rebuild. I can see them doing a sign and trade with Boston for Blake, and then trying to turn DJ into some picks or young players.

I definitely don't see Doc sticking around.
