Deandre Jordan took the biggest L in all of this. He was trapped in his own home by CP3 and Blake to resign that contract and they're both about to leave him :russ:

Blake might stay now that CP3 is gone. And we've seen before that when CP3 is out of the picture, he tends to play much better as a number 1 scoring option.

How did he get traded tho since he opted out? Unless the opt out was not in effect until July 1st

someone help a poor little idiot like me understand this lol

It's a sign and trade....a player can agree to resign with their current team at any time, they can't be courted by other teams till the first.

Can someone explain why people on here claim Harden & CP3 wouldn't work? What's the evidence of either of them failing to succeed with another elite guard?

And if it's impossible for them to co-exist why do people still get on the Thunder for trading Harden 5 years ago despite Westbrook being the most ball dominant guard in NBA history?

This is a pretty good "win now" move for the Rockets but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to give a 33 year old Chris Paul 200 million next summer.
