Basically you dont have to match the salary for the player youre trading for within the amount of cash you have as a trade exception.

For example if you wanted to trade for Paul George you dont have to match his salary as long as the players traded are being paid less than an amount within 11 million of his contract.

morey is on top of the little things that get deals like this done. those cash for non-guaranteed players that he collected for this trade had to be done before july 1st because that loophole will be closed then.

Outside of the money we had nothing to offer and no sales pitch. Paul knew this.. should've checked Doc 2-3 years ago on his bullsh*t GM moves and not developing any players outside of his son Austin..
