No one plays at those resolutions bruh.. 99% of people buying monitors are still buying 1080p monitors that are $100-300 depending on what quality you want.. The rest are doing 1440p and eventually will go to 4k. Heres the thing, you brought up 4k on your tv, but your consoles cant even play 1080p right so whats the point of bringing up resolutions to this argument

Nobody can game at 5K with current tech (at least not at high/ultra), so that monitor is useless. It's currently a straw man. 4K is about as high as you can go right now, and that still requires some serious hardware.
