This is like ridiculing someone that can afford a Benz because all you can afford is a Buick. Smart gamers keep a respectable gaming PC if for nothing else the multiplatform games.

I got Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3 on the day Bioshock came out for like $35 combined. A console gamer spent more than that on just Bioshock Infinite alone.

Any major game that comes out either AMD or Nvidia give away with their graphics cards damn near. People buy cards and dump the codes on eBay. Devalues the price of them by about half of retail cost.

If you buy 10 console games a year you've spent $600 on games. Snag those games as codes on eBay for around $30 a pop and you've saved $300 in game cost. There's your graphics card. It paid for itself. This isn't even counting the Steam sales where you get many games dirt cheap.

You're like the guy bragging he got a PS4 from Rent-A-Center and he pays $35 a week for 52 weeks. $35 is so cheap though. Anybody can afford that right? But in the long run...

Went through about 30 360's. PS3 ended up in the closet with my shoes.

yet you never BOUGHT 30 360's. so again . most of those early red ring of deaths were send backs to M$. you cant send your GPU back. you have to keep buying new ones. and then lets not forget new computers/motherboards overall.even when they work fine.

all this tech progresses at such a rapid rate, so why would you want to be stuck with the same hardware for 10 years? how many phones did you have in that amount of time?

no one wants to be stuck but most people dont want to be stuck paying crazy $$$ to keep up. its ridiculous to be honest. you're just use to it.

I only had 2 360's.... 1st one for 2 years and the 2nd for 6 years.... the 3rd gen xbox never broke down at all....

I feel sorry for those of you guys who's xbox's caught that red ring....
