He might have a 'filial responsibility' towards her. Domestic Support Obligations apply to parents, children, and spouses. If I remember correctly a child's duty to support parents is called a filial responsibility. Parents have a legal obligation to support their children until majority (and sometimes even beyond that, say college, etc.), in some cases (but to a lesser extent than vice versa) a child has a similar 'filial responsibility' to support their parents. Again, this is significant because Domestic Support Obligations are not dischargeable in bankruptcy.

Again, not sure this is the case with Clinton here, but read up more on 'filial responsbilities' if you're interested, breh. Family law is a muh fukka
