He's clearly got alot of potential and Kawhi is out for awhile so he should get alot of minutes to keep showing how good he is. Bottom of the barrel 30 year old scrubs are getting 15+ mill a year, 10 mill a year for 2 years is nothing in today's NBA for a 24 year old who has real skill . Mann could tear his ACL and a team would still give that kind of money to him.

or he could bet on himself like victor oladipo and end up signing a vet min.
you dont gamble around with generational wealth. You would be more wise to take risks after you get that first big contract.
20 million isnt some short change.
it's a good deal for both sides...might end up being a discount for the clippers....but getting your foot in the door for that kind of wealth especially considering his story where he almost didnt even get drafted at all

he'll have tons of changes to rake in money after he's 26....and get checks like the trevor arizas or robert covingtons.
