This isn't a shade to anyone just some common knowledge for all the REAL HEADS out there because I know there's still real nikkas left so I'ma break it down real simple.

Watch those nikkas (females too because some are crazy like that) as they might come at you verbally threatening try to put harm on you...some will actually try you so be prepared!

I’ve always defined envy as wanting what someone else has but having no interest in preventing them from continuing to have it (e.g. “damn, that breh is livin’ large, I need to step my cert game up too.)

And jealousy is wanting what someone has and actively working to take it (e.g. damn, breh is living large, imma get my certs and then privately report him for downloading porn in his work PC so his job becomes available.)

Of course, but your definition of envy just seems too subjective to me (as it assumes you know what someone else is thinking). Not saying this is wrong, but people who think this way should also be familiar with the below before unnecessarily creating rifts between friends or acquaintances:
