i got somethin...wasnt even gonna fukk with it this week but i was messing around with Ableton on some random shyt this morning and made this

watch naming your tracks after the sample tho...seen a few big name producers talk about getting nabbed for that.

Oh word, you manage a real organic sound, you have a lot of loudness without the drums being lost too.

On the master i have the fruity multiband compressor using the mastering 6db preset. I turn my master volume all the way down to -40db. I try to get each channel to the level I want then I put the master back to 0db. This usually works but sometimes I may have to turn the kicks and snares up or down depending how busy the sample is. I cut all frequencies below 20-30Hz

Digging this. I'm a sucker for trance experimental type of stuff. So this speaks to me

it took me days to EQ the sample. Ace Spectrum's album Low Rent Rendezvous is either mixed bad or the digital recording is bad. If I ever find the vinyl I will have to buy it and compare.
