Also what aftershave is ideal for razor bumps for black men?

Hold on I got ya

I was looking up this same thing a year ago and I went online and watched these 2 videos:

Worked great. Very helpful videos.

I shave my head bald. I don't have any bumps. I actually just go to Walmart and buy a pack of disposable razor blades for like $7. The one's I got were double blade and they were fine.

  • Take a shower first with WARM or HOT water (opens up your pores)
  • You need to get shave gel (I use this brand) Apply on your head immediately after shower at your sink

  • Then just rinse the blade with some warm water and start shaving front and down. Front and down. Never backwards or you'll get those razor bumps.
  • Rinse the blade periodically of any hairs while you're shaving.
  • After you're done, use some after shave gel IMMEDIATELY. Very important

You'll be good to go. No bumps.

Don't worry about those fancy electric razors or even the fancy single pack expensive ones that you can reuse multiple times. Every time I use an electric razor, even if I use aftershave, I get razor bumps. :beli:

Just get the ones in the pack that I showed you. You get 2-3 good uses from 1 and throw it away and use another one.

Advice from the bevel site

"Shave in the direction your hair grows"

How the fukk can I determine that? It's not like all my facial hair points in the same direction.

The guy explains it in the videos above.

For most black men, the hair on the top of your skull generally grows forward and down. Just apply the product forward. For the back of your head, apply the product downwards. For the side of your head, apply it forwards.

SKIN TIGHT Skin Care System | Official Website

That’s all you'll ever need, dawggie.

B&C is Black-owned and all-natural. I ran into them when they had a booth at the Black Expo section of the Atlanta Car Show this past summer. I bought the Skin Tight Razor Bump Ointment (it comes in a roll-on stick form, you'll see that when you click on the link and go to the site....in fact, they have a special sale on it right now). You apply it to whatever area you shaved, immediately after shaving, and you will never - repeat NEVER - have razor bumps again.

Like I said, I started using it this Summer....I shave my head at least 2 times a week and I use sharp clippers on my face, and I don't bump up at all. They also have other products like Cocoa Shea Butter that you would use like lotion, which also works great post-shave.

But that Razor Bump Ointment, yo.... :blessed:

Greatest stuff ever...check it out.
