If reparations are based on the idea that AA provided work which created wealth for this country without being paid for it, all the immigrants who came here to live the American dream, which means to take advantage of the wealth present in the US, should participate in the reparation, since they indirectly benefited from AA's work.

People don't understand how politics works. If its an easy going message, politicians will release it at the beginning of the week.

If its a message that will get a huge conversation started, negative and positive, they release it on the weekend.

Republicans just sent a shot at Democrats and they can't fire back because its the weekend. Now a conversation is about to get started, and democrats are going to have to scramble to catch up next week.
