The 4th officer charged with the racially aggravated crime of brutally torturing 2 black men, shooting one of the men through his mouth, has been sentenced to 40 years. The Judge imposed the harshest sentence on Christian Dedmon, saying he committed the most "shocking, brutal & cruel acts imaginable."
Reminder the 6 Mississippi police officers handcuffed & tortured these men by beating/kicking, going back & forth tasing, waterboarding, assaulting with a sex toy & also shooting 1 in the mouth. All for the crime of "Dating White Women." A direct quote from the victims of the crime that these 6 officers plead guilty to.

Video posted back around the time of the incident. 2023 was a disgusting year for Police violence including the murder of Tyre Nichols. Without accountability in policing the only solution is abolition. fukk 12.

6 White police officers in MS falsely accused 2 Black men of selling drugs & “dating white women” before handcuffing & brutally torturing them, beating/kicking, they went back and forth tasing them, waterboarding them & also shoot 1 in the mouth.

I always feel like they'll get off for doing horrendous shyt, but sometimes the system surprises me & brings some sort karmic justice.

Body camera video shows Tallahassee Police Department Officer planting evidence in a DUI arrest.

The video shows Officer Oliver pouring out a sealed bottle of liquor and tossing it in Calvin Riley Sr.’s passenger seat before arresting Riley for a DUI.

2/6
This is Calvin Riley Sr., who goes by Riley, with his youngest granddaughter outside his son’s house in Frenchtown. Riley is a 56 year old barber born and raised in Tallahassee. He says the night ‘nearly ruined his life.’

3/6
Under oath, Officer Oliver claimed several contradictory explanations for why she poured the liquor bottle out. She initially denied knowing that the bottle was sealed. Officer Oliver says "I don't remember" at least sixteen times during her second deposition.

4/6
“I heard what I thought was a seal being broken,” said Judge Jones in a pretrial hearing. "One of the officers testified that she thinks that that's what she heard as well. That's going to be up for the jury to decide.” Read the full story:

5/6
We’re going to try to identify all other incidents where Oliver may have planted evidence in other DUI and drug arrests. The city charges around $30-$75 per arrest to obtain body camera records, if you’re able to, you can contribute here:

Tallahassee Police Department just released the following statement, which in part says “We have thoroughly reviewed the incident and did not find any evidence of misconduct.”

A Tallahassee Police officer can be seen on body cam pouring out a sealed bottle of liquor and tossing it in Calvin Riley's passenger seat, before arresting him for a DUI. This truly shows our flawed justice system.

(April 4, 2024) Tallahassee, Florida - Black Man Charged With DUI After Police Open Sealed Bottle, Then Cite Container In Arrest

Body camera footage appears to show a police officer opening a sealed bottle of alcohol before that opened container is used to charge a Black man with a DUI in Tallahassee, Florida, according to a local media report.

Our Tallahassee first reported on the case of Calvin Riley Sr., 56, who was pulled over during a routine traffic stop last May and found to have a been driving with a suspended license. The news outlet notes that in Florida, officers are able to decide whether to ticket or arrest someone driving on a suspended license, but if they discover a second offense — like driving under the influence — they are required to arrest the person.

On body camera footage, Tallahassee Police Department Officer Kiersten Oliver speaks to the man before calling another officer for backup after expressing some belief that he smells like an illicit substance. Oliver and the other officer discuss asking the man to perform a voluntary sobriety test and then put them in the back of the officer’s patrol car after he refuses.

A search of the car yielded no marijuana, before Oliver discovers a small sealed bottle of liquor that she then opens with an audible noise of the seal cracking on camera. A sound of pouring can be heard on her body camera, and another body camera worn by a second officer shows her dumping the liquid out. Oliver then threw the bottle back into the car.

Body camera footage appears to show Oliver implying to the second officer that the bottle was open and the contents were in a thermos inside Riley’s vehicle.

The pair then call for a third officer to assist with an arrest, who is told there was a “bunch of alcohol stashed” in the car and that the container was open. An arrest report cites the open container as a reasoning for the DUI charge, although an officer described smelling alcohol on Riley’s breath at the time. The officer who wrote the report notes Riley told her he had had a “couple of drinks” at an area bar before he was pulled over.

Riley was arrested on probable cause of driving under the influence and is set to stand trial on the matter beginning Friday. The man told Our Tallahassee the episode cost him work and forced him to surrender his car after missing payments on the vehicle.

Oliver later said during a pre-trial hearing that she opened the bottle herself and poured the alcohol out, citing what she believed to be police department policy that prevented officers from impounding liquids as evidence.

Our Tallahassee notes there is no such policy.

Undercover cop beaten by colleagues during protest wins $23.5m payout

Hall in photos presented in court

St. Louis cops severely beat a black man, Luther Hall, during a street protest in 2017. But Hall was not there to protest: he was in fact another cop observing the event undercover. A jury awarded him $23.5m in a lawsuit that the defendants did not even respond to, so unwilling are they to explain themselves.

"Mr. Hall had to endure this severe beating and while that was happening, he knew it was being administered by his colleagues who were sworn to serve and protect," Circuit Judge Joseph Whyte said. … The attack happened on Sept. 17, 2017, days after Stockley was acquitted in the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Anthony Lamar Smith on Dec. 20, 2011. Hall was walking back toward police headquarters when his uniformed colleagues ordered him to put up his hands and get on the ground, then beat him.

These cops were exposed as violent racist goons by happenstance, and only one of the officers involved got jail time. The payout is a perverse result of making police otherwise unaccountable for misconduct: we now have cops beating each other up and getting massive payouts on the taxpayer's dime.

This is :scust::beli::snoop: crazy level of fukkery

former school resource officer in Washington state accused of killing his ex-wife and girlfriend is also a suspect in the abduction of a young boy, officials say.

Elias Huizar is “possibly headed to Mexico,” the Washington State Patrol said in an Amber Alert issued for 1-year-old Roman Huizar. The alert doesn’t specify any relationship between Huizar and the boy, who is described as having brown hair and brown eyes.

Huizar is believed to be traveling in a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla and is “suspected of murdering his ex-wife and girlfriend,” the Amber Alert said. The car has Washington plates CBZ4745, the alert said.

....
Jail records show Huizar was charged with second-degree rape in February. He was released on a $200,000 bond, according to the Tri-City Herald. CNN has reached out to the Benton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for more details.

At the time of the arrest, the city of Yakima said in a statement Huizar had been an employee there until February 2022, but didn’t say why he left.

Facebook posts from the Yakima Police Department show Huizar joined the department in December 2014 and began serving as a school resource officer in 2018.

Hopefully the kid is found safe

When you hear "Police Say" in a news report, be aware the reporter means they have no idea if what comes next is true or not. I worked with survivors of a deadly attack on antifascists in Portland and
@ForensicArchi to show how the police misled the public A gunman killed and injured protesters at a BLM march. Why did police blame the victims?

I read the article when it first dropped, and it's completely insane. The 30 minute video in the article is worth watching if you have the time.

To make a long story short, these women were part of a group that goes far ahead of protest marches to be courteous and warn any cars or people who wander into the set protest route. They were by themselves, completely unarmed, and away from the protest. A MAGA chud left his house, went down the street to confront them, began screaming crazy Fox news shyt, and then shot an old lady, who walks with a cane and is bald from chemotherapy, point blank in the mouth, killing her, and then opened fire on everyone else around her. An organizer who functions as armed security, who was at another location, ran over when he heard the shots fired and shot the gunman from afar with a rifle while he was reloading , and then performed life saving emergency medical care on the gunman. This was all filmed on a helmet strapped go pro one of the organizers was wearing.

The story alone is horrible, but the lengths the police and the complicit media went through in order to twist the story to blame the protesters is just insane. It just goes to show you how easy it is to manipulate the public, and really makes you think about how many times something like this happened where we never find out the real story.
