Well NAS possibly could've been FINISHED in the twitter age if he waited months to comeback at JAY..especially with no leaks.

Not to mention JAY was/is beloved so it would be millions of dikkriders ready to crown him winner ASAP. Yea Jay dropped first and in the Twitter age Nas wouldn't have had 3 months to respond. If he didn't respond within the week it would've been considered over already.

Nas did like half of what Stillmatic did 1 year later, Jay did about the same numbers i.e. he maintains a consistent fanbase, which makes it hard to "kill him". At the end of the day, the twitter/ig beef thing is all about # of fans and specially how many corny fans you have. Now Nas might have a lot of corny fans (still living like they are IllWill affiliates in 2001 on the coli) but that's probably not enough. You need that Drake, Beyonce etc levels of fans.

If Drake wasn't a person who does a million first week, he couldn't have murked Meek like he did. Same with 50 and everyone he was beefing with 10 years ago.
