Appeals Court Reinstates Racial Discrimination Claim Against Kansas City Power & Light Operator
If you've ever been to KC you've heard of the Power & White...I mean Light district. Basically, the city foot the bill for renovating downtown after ignoring it for decades. Basically because they wanted to get rich white folks from the suburbs to get a little taste of "city" living. They started out trying to harass black people trying to get into the clubs area. They'd do shyt like make up issues with your clothes being too bagging or your shirt not being tucked in while letting white folks in with jeans and t-shirts
They finally got outted so much in the papers for that shyt and people started taking pictures of how they were dressed versus how white people who were allowed in where dressed. So, too much heat and they had to stop.
Some breh sued, looks like the case is back on.
