The best Man came out in 1999 and was #1 at the box office it's opening weekend. made 34 Million on a 9 million budget. took FOURTEEN YEARS for a sequel to come out.

the Best man Holiday came out in 2013 and made $30 mil its opening weekend and made $72 mill overall on a 17 mill budget. it's sequel is indefinitely DELAYED tho

if only maybe all those Asian Americans gave Black rom-coms the same energy people like Ava Duvernay, Lena Waites(bought out a theater LOL), And Gabrille Union did for Crazy Rich Asians.
