Culture VS Salary

10k isnt enough of a gap to suffer from a company with bad culture.

If it was say 20% difference, then it makes the choice harder. For 10k i choose better culture all day.

While I'm just here to do a job, I'd probably spend more of my productive (read: awake) hours at this place than I would anywhere else.

I have to enjoy going to said place every day, and I have to enjoy the aspects of said place.

Making six figures, for me, that 10K won't make that much of a difference.

Ehh wasn’t fukking with the other colleagues on my team. The Director & VP were mad cool. But dealing with my “peers” might be an issue. Wasn’t much of a gel. If that makes any sense.

An extra 10k isn't nearly enough. Give me the environment I don't hate walking into daily. A hostile/miserable workplace is objectively a drain on your mental health and well-being. To tolerate that misery for a paltry extra 10k is laughable. My mental clarity and physical wellbeing is worth exponentially more than that.

Once you cross over into 6 figs land, extra 10K ain't hitting on anything because they are taking it out your taxes anyways. Maybe at most around an extra 100 every pay check.

What's the base?

The difference between 190k and 200k means less than the difference between 100k and 110k


The higher the base the less likely I am to give af about 10k difference.
