He was a DJ on bootleg radio in Miami back in the late 90's. The reason he was popular is because he was somehow well connected and was getting new hip-hop from NY before the mainstream stations. Him and some cat named Buttafuco used to tear up the airwaves back then with the "Arab Attack"

Dude definitely grinded and hob-nobbed with the elite to get where he is. For most of his career he kept his ear to the street and had a good feel of what was going to blow. At this point, he's pretty much washed.
