I feel like he has his rhyme scheme perfect, its not to over peoples head, but not mad basic either. Even when he does drop a bunch of basic stuff, he usually drops a few gem's in there too keep the lyricist happy.

Unlike my nikka's in slaughter house and my dude lupe who just murder tracks with metaphor's and what not

Surprisingly dope tape, especially considering a lot of rap nowadays bores me. This guy has so much clarity, in every sense of the word, that it's impossible not to be grabbed by his rhymes.

This mixtape is very dope. I have been a fan of his for years and enjoy this project from start to finish. I am just amazed that he is not bigger than he currently is. From a lyrical stand point there are not many people touching him right now. I hope this project gets him some much deserved buzz.

I thought this was gone be on some real teaching shyt like that K'Naan Messengers series from a few years ago, which wasn't bad. But he sprinkled some knowledge in without coming of to preachy or teachy. Didn't really force the punchlines on us too much either

thats what separates the conscious rappers from the real entertainers.

Thats why CyHi is untouchable right now.

remember he grabbed me on So Appalled when he said "y'all just so major haters and some math minors"

He reminds me of vintage Common with the wordplay. With better rhyme schemes and flow.

yeah, I was telling my Ace how dude has practically MASTERED the art of being an "Entertaining Lyricist". he's not trying to rap over your head to show you how great he is at being a lyrically lyrical nikka.

He's a LYRICIST...... That's.... ACTUALLY TRYING TO ENTERTAIN YOU. :damn::mindblown::merchant::gladbron::dwillhuh::ohhh::ooh::lupe:

listened to it twice now, and the only flaw I can find is the Nissan Versa speakers can't take the beating the lows of this album pushes out. :to:

If this was his album, it would have been some bar raising shyt, seriously.

Listened to Huey 4 times straight this morning.

4.5/5
