Daniel Holtzclaw's rapes pinned on black men, activist saysAfter former Oklahoma City copDaniel Holtzclaw was convicted Thursday of rape, the conversation on Twitter took a bizarre turn.
Thousands of tweets described Holtzclaw as a vile subhuman while he cried in the courtroom, but one person boldly declared black men should carry some of the blame.
"I hope black men can realize that calling black women h-es, thots, loose and every other sexist [thing] is a factor in why these BW were targeted,"tweeted @Branfire.

Holtzclaw, who is white, faces 236 years in prison for abusing his power as a police officer to prey on his 13 victims - all of whom are black women, the youngest just 17.
The controversial tweet, which has been retweeted more than 665 times, aimed to say that devaluing black women through stereotypes helped Holtzclaw zero in on his victims.
"Black men please know that you contribute to rape culture. Acknowledgment is the first step to help dismantle systems that oppress BW," he continued.
The critical theory was blasted by black men all over the social media site, who appeared confused with the notion that they were somehow responsible.
