Daryl Morey Tells The Truth About The Warriors

[G.O.A.T Squad Spokesman]

Morey joined “The Doug Gottlieb Show” on CBS Sports Radio Monday and was asked about the team that knocked his squad out of the playoffs last season. He made it quite clear how highly he thinks about Golden State.


“The Golden State Warriors were not lucky to win the title. They were the best team last year. They are the best team this year so far,” Morey told Gottlieb. “They’re just an unbelievable team. Obviously you can always point to any champion and say ‘maybe this could have gone different or that could have gone different,’ and you can erase every championship.


“This Golden State team is special. I think it’s going to go down as one of the all-time teams. We’re hoping to take them down this year but you gotta look: they beat us nine out of 10. They’ve got our number. We’ve got to figure out how to beat them.”

Were public calls made to PLEASE respect the "champs", and "cmon guys I swear theyre really good, cut em some slack" after San Antonio won any of their titles?
