Turf toe can be a major issue if you don't let it heal. Turf toe is technically a ligament injury but the foot is a bundle of arteries and nerves and chances are Deion played on it too much and his foot got worse and worse.
Hopefully he can find a less extreme solution.

He had a dislocated toe and an inflammed nerve which was giving him pain, that was the initial surgery. During the recovery the nurse noticed that two of his toes were black, so they ran more tests and figured out he had compartment syndrome that led to pressure and blood clots in his legs(Deion's maternal side of the family has a history of blood clots apparently). The blood clots in his leg were life threatening, so they had to amputate the toes. He's still having issues it seems unfortunately so the leg might be next. A lot of this stuff was covered in his Amazon series.

It's so sad. He said it was because he was a Rasta, so he shouldn't amputate any of his limbs.

If he lived longer he'd be a billionaire cashing in on all his music and merchandise.

So its blood clots that would get his leg amputated not turf toe

My Gramps passed away from Parkinsons/Diabetes at 90 last month. He had his big toe amputated in Jan from poor circulation/necrosis. Then he had dead circulation in his leg, and was suppose to have his entire leg amputated, but couldn't because of his age. So he contracted gangrene and he just passed away from it.

Does Prime have diabetes that he keeps secret? Or does turf toe do that?

It sounds like Prime's leg is just having constant circulation issue and he probably is going to have to lose more of his leg.

Obviously he has his first 2 toes amputated but the circulation in his leg and foot is so poor he has to get massaged multiple times a day just to get circulation back and stop the pain.
You can also see they had to take a part of his lower leg cause of the clots too.
