Panthers didnt even play that much worse than the broncos; the turnovers didnt let them get into any rythym.

Lol. In all fairness, Cam was doing good in the first half. His receivers was not helping him at all. On top of not having a solid run game, he was fighting an uphill battle. Everything ended up falling apart for him in the later half of the game. You're right that the defense did their part but they allowed 24 points so...:manny:

Defense technically allowed only 17 pts
Even then we could say they only allowed 9 pts on 3 FGs. With that last TD being on the offense fumbling.

What makes the Denver Defense so special is we have 3 linebackers in Trevathean, Von and B-Marsh that we could ask to do that same thing.

I hope Elway finds away to keep them all. Other than Ware, they are all entering their prime. Might have to skimp on the offense for a year or 2 but we got by all year with no offense.

I'd tried to draft for need on offense and spend all the free agency cash on retaining Trevathan and Malik Jackson.

Not too concerned about the restricted guys leaving. Atleast we will be able to recoup if we tender them highly.

Im hoping my Bears make a push for Trevathan and Malik Jackson

Someone post that pic of cam on his knees looking helpless. :mjlol:

Not to mention his desire to NOT win by NOT jumping on a fumble. No heart.

I don't watch all the Panthers games but why did they opt to kick when they won the coin toss?

Shoulda establish shyt first, draw first blood, etc.

from what ive seen and read, I think yeah I read some article about how all nfl players sign contracts to not let the secret out.. And just by reading cams body language at his press conference, it looks like he was forced to. at least to me.
"cole, u stupid"

I think the refs can manipulate the point spread by situationally throwing flags, but I dont think the players throw games. Football is a sport where the rules are so vague, refs can use "judgement" calls to control field position for either team. Take Denvers 1st drive on a 3&6 where Norman gets a holding flag, when the replay showed what looked to be a legal 5 yard chuck. Now, the pass was completed, but even if it wasnt the flag automatically give Denver a 1st, sustaining their drive and momentum.

shyt like that affects the outcome of games....alot.
:mjpls: like the panthers 2nd drive when Talib got that u essay roughness call after cam got sacked on 3rd and 10 that kept they drive going. even tho talib was walking to his sideline and the wr talking was in our sideline after the play?

They defered. I always kick in Madden, and Belichick does too (defers). The logic is if you have a great 2 min offense, you can potentially double up at the end into halftime (de facto onside kick), as a lot of lesser teams start slowing down close to the end of the half if you score.

If you're down, you have a second life hopefully.
