Brothers J.D. and Don are charter members of the Ut Prosium Society, a group of Virginia Tech donors who have contributed $100,000 or more to the school. They also have supported the University of Virginia’s Wise campus. In 2008, J.D. and his wife, Lorraine, were members of the campus’ Washington Society, for donors who contributed between $5,000 and $10,000.
