I was pretty young when it came out, but I remember having a newspaper ad for it hanging in my locker so I assume it was pretty hyped. It wasn’t great, wasn’t terrible. I’ve probably seen it 4 or 5 times so I’d say it has pretty good replay value.
I feel like slasher vs. slasher is an idea that’s doomed for failure, so I’d say this at least avoided that.

All I remember from that film was that really dope cinematography in the scene of Freddy and Jason fighting on the dock and the film having a bootleg jay of jay and silent Bob in it

It was a fun movie that my friends and I went to see after watching a high school football game one Friday night. We were entertained so it served it's purpose. Although, to be honest, I think I've only watched it once since then and I own it with that double DVD pack with Jason X.
