I learned about Pan-Africanism when I turned 19, but I was taught about Muhammad Ali in the 3rd grade by a White teacher who was in her 60's. My parents just touched on regular Civil Rights stuff.

I did. I had an auntie that was SUPER pro black and Pan African. She was schooling me at a young age.
