Disgusted... Found the slave master of my ancestors

my last name is German and I have (well my granddad has) documents of the slave owners in the last 1800s.. and pics of their children in the 1900s.... and in the 1900 they still lived close and basically treated them like slaves.
and before the 1900's Court records shows CAC daughters suing eachother over the property ( My ancestors). . I didn't know women could even sue back then or inherit anything.

The one thing I didn't see is a "marriage" or any mixed kids or any of that shyt. So I'm hoping that there isn't much CAC slave owner blood in me.
But I'm light brown, and my son is Bright as fukk and his mom is darker.......and looking at my cousins... .and my features ..........some of them are clearly European... so

I refuse to investigate further. Everyone says that Germans were Anti-Slavery......but i got the fukking court docs, old pics, journals.. all that shyt.

the other side of my family is from africa.... but they actually look less African to me. ( i know thats an ignorant statement doe)

So this thread got me interested in looking up my family history (without using ancestry pay sites) which more than likely wouldn't have worked for me anyways since my family is from the Dominican Republic.

So I took a unconventional method which I honestly didn't think it would work, I emailed the government of Dominican Republic directly specifically the department of public records, I gave them my name, parents name and grandparents name & everyone's birthday's. Again I sent this email on Saturday never expecting a response.

On Monday I got a email, guy told me they would be more than happy to help me said someone who would get back to me with more info, today in the morning i got a email from a lady, told me she would be processing my request, said it would take a few days because records are poorly kept and she doesn't know how far back she could go with my family but she sent me scanned copy of 45 yr old book that had the history of families in the Dominican Republic according to there last name. She only scanned the 75 of the book, 3 of those pages that dealt with my dad's last name (am assuming since that's my last name) anyways this has the name of people that first went to the island back in the early 1600s, sadly it's most Spaniards from the canary Island, it's about a dozen families or so. It gave there name, where they immigrated from, birthday, name of there parents, name of spouse if married, name there children, date of death and also if jobs, reasons of death was known it's listed.

My next step is going to try and find information on each of them to see who owned slaves and see where /with who the mixing happened

Cool side note, that book that she scanned I was able to track down the only copy of it here in the US and buy it, weirdly some antique book store owned it and I should be getting it in a week

Africans in Africa are far less likely to have "non-Black" blood than AAs, who have lived in the same area as Whites and American Natives for more than 400 years. Especially when you go in Central Africa where mixing with Whites or Arabs is and always has been extremely limited.

Dude family was rich and had land galore, was happy to read that his son got destroyed in the civil war on the confederate side. I feel some type of way of other colored people lately.

The surnames in my family dating back are Scott, Wilson, Adams, McDuffie, Montgomery, Wilson, Clark i might be forgetting more.

So the book came in the mail, apparently there were various volumes printed covering the last names with A-Z, I caught a break the one I bought (Which was still the only one that was for sale anywhere online) has my last name

just did some quick scanning no deep research yet only thing that stands out is

-reference to a alot of church people(priest and chaplain)
-a reference to two "free mulatos" in 1667
-reference to a guy who was the "governor of the plains", sounds like a large land owner
-reference to slaves Domingo and Astacio), Astacio was owned by two married free "Negros" in 1715
-reference to "Negros" : Nicolas who was married to a free Venezuelan negro women

Keepin it 100, a LOT of blacks in America unfortunately have genetic ties to slavemasters/slaveowners, dark & light skinned alike.

It's the stories of white folks who find out somebody was passing which get me Paper can be faked, scrubbed or destroyed, but the DNA tests won't lie.

I'd like there to be DNA testing, so folks figure out the truth of what's in the family bibles, and what wasn't.
