A while back a poster, I think it was @blaccbeard said that Black UFC fighters win more than cacs and whoever else

I'm only asking because when you see commercials for fights there always seems to be an inordinate amount of highlights of brehs getting knocked out by dudes that ain't brehs.

Now I don't know what percentage of mma we make up but just going off of the advertising they make it look like we make up at least 40% of mma fighters.

Last night they had a special on that Hispanic dude who was famous for doing that kick where he jumps off the side of the octagon and how he had the (welterweight?) title for a number of years and they had mad highlights of him knocking out black dudes. He got his ass beat and then proceeded to lose 5 of his next 8 fights. They showed highlights of *some* of those fights but none of them were brehs

Out of those 5 losses I'm guessing at least one had to be a breh

why didn't they show him getting his ass beat by brehs :mjpls:

I feel like UFC culture as a whole is racist and that's part of why I can't get into it. It's a lot of cacs pretending they're actually good at something but it seems to me that a lot of the top fighters end up being Black and they don't get anywhere near the same push as the cacs and Latinos :manny:

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier say hi. Jon Jones has fukked up so many times and the UFC has had his back. And the opposite of him is dc. The only black guy they really did dirty is tyron but that's also kind of his fault for not putting on the most can friendly fights since he got the belt. shyt they are pushing adesnya hard as hell. I think after usman destroys Colby he will get a lot of love too.

The Showtime Kick is one of the most well-known moments in MMA history. That’s going to be in every video package about Anthony Pettis. The same way Anderson Silva’s front kick on Vítor or Edson Barboza’s wheel kick on Terry Etim is always highlighted.

The only fighters that get promoted by the UFC in 2019 are fighters that talk s#it or have an exciting style. A lot of guys have been screwed over by the UFC, because they didn’t fit that criteria.

that's two guys cac :mjlol:

Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou both got huge pushes recently, and they came up short in their title fights. Israel Adesanya is being promoted as the next big thing and he has a title shot after five fights. Kevin Lee got solid promotion going into his title shot and he lost. The only black fighter that has obviously been mistreated in recent years is Mighty Mouse, and that was more of a result of Dana hating the Flyweight Division than race.

Yeah and there's only 7 champs. You act like the UFC us just slobbing every average fighter like artem lobov(the goat )Anthony Pettis is a former champ and was a great and exciting fighter is his prime. Francis was getting outrageous love. Curtis blaydes gets love. Derrick Lewis is one of the most followed ppl on IG in the UFC and the UFC loves him. Kevin lee. Obviously it's a business so if you fight good and are a fan favorite you will get more promos and shyt. Back in the day Evans, rampage, Congo, rumble. Also it's statistics theres more white ppl and Brazilians fighting

I noticed you guys didn't address the other part of my post

what are the percentages in terms of Black fighters in MMA and how come every time there is a fight by a cac or non black fighter there's the obligatory highlight of a breh getting knocked out. Seems weird to me. Especially when @blaccbeard claims Black fighters win more than others, so why are they portrayed on the losing end more :jbhmm:

matter of fact who are the dudes Pettis lost to?

Google is your friend. The UFC job is to show highlights. Sorry if your feel like it's always brehs in it. I mean till got knocked out that's a highlight. The Korean zombie got knocked out by yair that's a highlight. Rashes knocked out Chuck Liddell that was a highlight. Woodley knocked out lawler that was a highlight. There's only SO many instances of highlights whether white or black.

Great Question.

The Greatest Ever is Jon Jones (debatable) or You can say Anderson Silva.

The Heavyweight Champ is DC

The Lightweight Champ was DC who is now Jon Jones

The Welterweight Champion is Usman who Just beat Tyron Woodley

Number 1 Contender in the Middleweight Division is Yoel Romero

Greatest Flyweight is Mighty Mouse

The Greatest Figther in the Womans Division is Amanda Nunez

The Top 2 in The Pound for Pound is

  • 1. Daniel Cormier (21-1-0 1NC; 235 lb / 106 kg)
  • 2. Jon Jones (24-1-0; 205 lb / 93kg)
And this is with a small percentage of Black people in the sport

When we get the smaller 5 foot 6 black people to join the sport we have a chance to take over lightweight , featherweight and bantamweight

However i think the best athletes usually decide to take their talents to other sports.:yeshrug:
