You're implying when all I'm saying is that this phenomenon is not homogenized as the OP feels...my point is that the discussion is more complex than all overweight people being lazy or greedy...its dependent on the person and their are serious mental, emotional, and physical causation behind how everyone's body looks, fat, skinny, muscular, tall, short, etc...

I understand that it isnt black & white like the op presented BUT you know damn well for every fatty with a diagnosed thyroid problem there are 20 who claim that they have thyroid problems as an excuse. i have 5 obese family members who havent been to a doctor in years but are quick to throw out the thyroid card.
