The government does have laws in place to protect its consumers like gambling laws etc. They are cracking down on lootboxes and other nonsense in videogames. Drugs which have the potential to cause chaos to the public are banned as well. There are procedures in place to keep any trend rife with fukkery from going too far.

• As soon as a potential simps shows signs of weakness, a government agent should pop out the bushes.. like, "look young man, you dont have to do that. there are 3-4 billion other women on this Earth"
• Also, internet blocks should be placed after every DM containing simp language that was unsolicited.
• Special AI software should seek out and destroy corny/pathetic comments on girls IG posts that start with "Hi beautiful" "Youre so pretty" or anything similar

They want that. They have policies in place to extract money from you. I.E. child support(even if it’s not yours) and alimony.
