it is what it is man. People hold on to a lot of negative shyt they deal with during their formative years. It's not really different than people who grow up abused, bullied or poor in that regard
If you can't relate then realize you're fortunate. If you were a good football player then you had a lot of social protection
My problem is people had no problem singling these kind of brehs out for being "oreos" when it had a negative connotation and served to lower someone's self esteem but since it's seen as positive to like these things now suddenly it's not special. But If it was the case then they wouldn't have been singled out to begin with. Clearly it was seen as special or different. So, it's a moment of pride for people who had to endure that shyt like it was something bad to begin with. People who grew up like this actually had less role models to look up to than so called ghetto or hood nikka. And I bring them up because those were the ones who were most likely to bully a kid for being that way.
With all that said I don't think Donald is exactly the same as most of the people who look up to him. He's lucky he actually happens to be a pretty good cross-culture entertainer, whereas people who look up to him probably don't have that which made him more accepted.
I agree, that's why I said I would probably have gone through something similar had I went to a public school.
Yeah sports would have insulated me to an extent but my overall point is how heavy the highschool phase weighs on people.
I mean look at how many movies talk about homecoming or prom. Clearly people love (or hate) to relive their hs years.
I'm just lucky mine were boring and uneventful.

But hes the cornball, ok
