This was supposed to be his anthem. He gotta be confused as hell right now. He keeps trying different things and nothing is sticking. I actually expected this one to take off. Dope beats. Catchy hook. But casual listeners just ain't fukkin with Aubrey right now. Kendrick stripped him off all of his aura.

Y’all haven’t learned yet, the Drake era is over, it’s just like when 50 crushed Ja Rule, the old stuff that was already hits before the beef will always get played/streamed but anything after will not stick around, his next album will come and go too, he suicided himself with the lawsuit killing any credibility he had left that’s why he’s pretty much trying to just cash out on his career

If Drake releases this 5 years ago it's the song of the summer. It has all the characteristics of a Drake billboard hit.

The Kendrick beef and Drake just being at the end of his run has made what were surefire hits a few years ago nothing but viral songs that only resonate for a few days.
Nah this shyt was mid, he been mid since the electronic album though imo. His shyt only stayed not cause of the quality but because of his name.

You're right in that this would have hit hit not due to it being a good song. Due to popularity.

Edit: Actually since Certified lover boy, look at that cover. Disgusting! He had some joint son there but overall his quality dropped IMO. He still made some jams here and there but I can tell the tide was turning personally. I've been a fan of Drake since before So Far Gone but dude has become corny over time and dropped in quality. Just my opinion.

nikka been hating on him for years but he's just now only been mid for like 2 and a half years. Honestly nevermind came out in 2022.

Make up your mind, nikka

How do you go from posting threads comparing him to milli vanilli years before that to "I've been a Drake fan until honestly nevermind" like that was the jumping the shark moment for you?

And the immediately because of that, everything else was just automatically trash lmao but you liked scorpion and views. But her loss is trash?

Drake released dozens of singles and only has 13 number 1s

why are y’all acting like every song he make has to be number with the legs of Stacy Keibler

Agreed but wouldn't you say it's odd that his comeback single made zero noise after the first week? Even as a street single that wasn't mean to be a hit, it's weird.

I think it did its job at hitting #2, though he obviously wanted that #1 spot. But it's not like the song has even been promoted a lot after it dropped. It was the live stream and that was it.

Drake hasn't even referenced it. Didn't use it in the promo for his new jet or anything. It's not getting played on the radio.

I think he's kinda going for certain headlines like the one he got with the streaming numbers and it going #2 just off him and his promo and insta.

The rollout is gonna be interesting because I think him and UMG are in a tight bind. I still don't recall if Nokia was mainly UMG pushing it or Sony since that whole santa anna deal with don't and ovo

Which is interesting because Party is signed to Sony, Santa Anna came out right before party dropped his album and this one was through that and not purely Sony. They were supposedly the ones offering up $500 M to Drake which started the whole UMG thing.

Idek how it works releasing a collab album where the two people are on the same label, but one is signed to UMG and the other to Sony, which are two of the big 3 and are direct competitors. Who pushes what?

Yall keep posting early predictions, then the real chart comes out and it's higher and then nothing.

Same way it wasnt supposed to be top10 this week, but is 8th, even with new releases. Yall are obsessed
Brag about 8th place brehs :mjlol: Joobry and his gender neutral stans are finished

His stans will always support him and he’ll always sell and chart well, but his days as the guy is over.

Dangerously close to legacy artist status. Which isn’t a bad thing at all, but he’s not the type to take that well.
